Research by PhD: specific funded projects

Some projects have already been awarded funding from various sources. For these, the outline and some details of the projects will already have been worked out by the supervisors. However, there is often still some scope for students to take projects in new directions. You apply for the positions competitively, just like applying for a job.

ANNOUNCEMENT
BBSRC 4-year PhD projects based at Cardiff University have been advertised on the BBSRC SWDTP website. Two of the projects concern the Behavioural Neurobiology of Learning and Memory and have supervisory teams including members of the School of Psychology (Dr Dominic Dwyer, Professor Rob Honey), Psychological Medicine (Professor Jeremy Hall) and the School of Biosciences (Professor Kevin Fox) .  Please contact any of the supervisors for more details about the projects and Rob Honey for further information about the BBSRC SWDTP PhD programme.
