Graduate Diploma in Psychology
The course is designed to further the education in psychology of graduates to allow them to obtain BPS accreditation.
Certificate programme in Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CBT)
The Certificate and Diploma programmes in Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CBT) programme is being introduced in March 2012. It will offer high quality CBT training based on the competency framework published by the Department of Health and is intended to help those aiming for practitioner accreditation with the BABCP.
Masters Courses
The MSc in Neuroimaging Methods and Applications programme is being introduced in October 2012.
The MSc in Social Science Research Methods provides students with the opportunity to acquire the generic research skills required by all social science researchers.
Research by PhD
Applicants interested in pursuing PhD schemes in any one of the School's primary research areas must have at least an upper-second class honours degree or equivalent (normally in a science discipline).
Educational Psychology
The Doctorate in Educational Psychology offers knowledge and expertise for a career as an educational psychologist (EP) via a doctorate-level of study.
The Post-Qualification (Top-Up) Doctorate in Educational Psychology offers experienced qualified educational psychologists the opportunity to ‘top-up’ their Master’s degree by taking further examinations.
Clinical Psychology
The Programme is 3 years full-time and leads to the award of Doctor of Clinical Psychology validated by Cardiff University. This in-service course has strong links with Health and Social Care Services across West, South and Mid Wales.
