Psychology Careers

Many of our graduates put their psychology degree to direct use, either by becoming a professional psychologist or by using their psychology knowledge in their everyday working life.

Professional Psychology

Our British Psychological Society accredited degree schemes, including Psychology, Psychology with Professional Placement, and the Graduate Diploma, provide students with the fundamentals for beginning a career in professional psychology. Our graduates are able to go on to train in a variety of professional psychology careers including: clinical psychology, neuropsychology, counselling psychology, forensic psychology, educational psychology, occupational psychology, health psychology, sport and exercise psychology, as well as academia, research and teaching.

Psychology Related Careers

Psychology-related careers include graduate schemes in business management, education, government, healthcare, social entrepreneurship and social work.
