Research summary

My PhD project involves investigating mechanisms involved in neurovascular coupling (the relationship between neuronal activity and subsequent changes in cerebral blood flow), using MEG and fMRI neuro-imaging methods. I aim to investigate how this coupling might be impaired by the inflammation of the CNS, by studying a multiple sclerosis population.
