Guide to Updating Your Profile Page
We would be grateful if every 6 months you would kindly update your web profile using a WORD version of your profile. When making changes please highlight in colour or use track changes so updating is minimal. Please email your updated template via email: email@example.com. Please also include an image as appropriate. If you requre a WORD template please do get in touch.
The publications part of your profile page is automatically generated using the University ORCA database. http://orca.cf.ac.uk/.
We encourage all our staff to maintain their publications themselves using this guide.
Once publications are submitted by yourselves through the portal and then verified by the ORCA team they will automatically appear on your profile page.
If you need edits carried out on already added publications you would need to email them to firstname.lastname@example.org and they will take care of this for you. They also search for all details of each publication and add page numbers etc as they become available so you shouldn’t have to go back to Orca after initial submission.
Welcome to the School of Psychology. In order to give you a presence on the WEB we require, as a school, for you to complete a Web Profile Proforma which can be downloaded on the right hand side of this page. We would like you to provide information sufficient enough to allow us to update your profile pages in a manner consistent with other individuals in the School.
To help you with this, we have created guides (which can be downloaded on the right hand side of this page) about what information should be included on the profile pages, and information about how to provide this content in an easy to access format. This information will also lay the foundation for subsequent changes to your profile pages making changes in the future easier for yourself and the IT team (see guide for information), and will be given to new members of staff/postgraduates to help them create their web page.
We would be grateful if you could send your web page information within a month of arriving. This provides plenty of time to work on your pages, but also means that the web pages will become up-to-date relatively quickly.
Any questions, please email: email@example.com (on behalf of WEB).
