Guide to Updating Your Profile Page
Current Staff
Our new website has been up and running now since December 2010. We would be grateful if every 6 months you would kindly update your web profile. This is your 6-monthly nudge in order to keep our web site up-to-date and in preparation for REF.
Please download your WORD profile template from the shared drive:
S:\Webpage Profiles
(when opening the files there will be an error message see opposite just click ok)
When making changes please highlight in colour or use track changes so updating is minimal.
Email your updated template / pdf’s of publications to Laura via email: psychitservices@cardiff.ac.uk
New Staff
Welcome to the School of Psychology. In order to give you a presence on the WEB we require, as a school, for you to complete a Web Profile Proforma which can be downloaded below. Therefore, we would like you to provide information sufficient enough to allow Laura Morris to update your profile pages in a manner consistent with other individuals in the School.
To help you with this, we have created guides (which can be dowloaded below) about what information should be included on the profile pages, and information about how to provide this content in an easy to access format for Laura. This information will also lay the foundation for subsequent changes to your profile pages making changes in the future easier for yourself and Laura (see guide for information), and will be given to new members of staff/postgraduates to help them create their web page.
We would be grateful if you could send Laura your web page information within a month of receiving this email. This provides plenty of time to work on your pages, but also means that the web pages will become up-to-date relatively quickly.
