Communication & Impact

Public Activities

We run workshops, give public lectures and host visits to the School from schoolchildren (see quotes opposite from a recent workshop on psychology for sixth-formers). We also help the media with research-related requests, and give interviews regarding our own findings.

Technology, Industry & Policy

Many of our researchers work with charitable organisations, industry and politicians. These broader links help us translate our research, including informing policy, developing better procedures and measurement tools, and generating opportunities for improving quality of life with respect to issues of global importance, such as health, training, education, language and climate change.

Volunteering

We always require volunteers to help us undertake our research. Interested individuals can find out more by going to our volunteering section which describes the Cardiff Community Panel, and provides information about studies investigating development, fertility and autism.
