There is plentiful accommodation in Cardiff. One good place for BnBs is Cathedral Road, a pleasant 15 min walk from the university across Bute Park. See Google Map.
Travel
The location of the meeting in the Tower Building, Park Place, Cardiff University, CF10 3AT. The central train station and central bus station are about 20 mins walking, or 10 mins by taxi. The local 'Cathays' train station is only 3 mins walk. The airport is 30 mins by taxi, or there is a bus from the airport to the central train station.
Travelling by Taxi
Inform the taxi driver that you wish to go to Cardiff University, Tower Building, 70 Park Place.
Travelling by Rail
(Cathays Train Station)
When you arrive at Cathays station leave the platform, pass by the bridge, turn right and head towards the road. When you reach the road if you look to your right, about 100m on the other side of the road, you should be able to see the top of our tower building (see image opposite).
